What “Q Control” really means in production
In real systems, Q is not a “simulation knob.” It is a practical description of how a second-order pole pair behaves under real components, real temperature, and real parasitics. “Controlling Q” means keeping Q and f0 inside a defined window across variation and time, not merely hitting a nominal value once.

For high-Q sections, designing to a single “nominal Q” is not sufficient.
